Well they say goods things always reach to an abrupt slay. Not so definite if there's any truth to that saying but if insurance is any indicator of the climate for consumers in 2010...then things are not looking up. 2010 starts off with a bang in the Pennsylvania auto insurance category with Progressive Specialty signing in with a rate increase of 5.5% effective February 26, 2010. So if you already got your bill and it went up..there's your explanation. Progressive preferred also took a 5.5% bump on the same date. You need to remember that Progressive operates many different companies so you'll have to ogle if this is the one you've got.



Trustguard insurance a member of the Grange group took a really nice jump and checks in with a distinct 12.8% increase effective 3/1/10...Ouch! Next on the list is Nationwide Affinity Ins of the Nationwide group with a 3.0% increase. Allstate Fire & Casualty comes in with a 6.8% rate increase going into finish on April 1st, 2010. Travelers Home and Marine and Travco of the Travelers group accomplish off the list that I have with rate increases of 3.0% and 3.8% respectively.
